You will not find fad diets or profiles of only slim white women. You will find poignant opinion pieces and profiles of amazing activists. You will find a section on health that does not include weight loss tips or damaging rhetoric. This magazine dares to be different in a world of publications that are designed to oppress readers into aligning with stereotypes and stigmas. We hope that RARA will empower through education in both creative and critical spheres.
